No Fixed Plans, Inc.

Life is more interesting
with No Fixed Plans.

A one-person holding company turning a single operator — suit, artist, and engineer collapsed into one — into a portfolio of vertical e-commerce SaaS. From 1 to $1B, with no fixed plans on how we get there.

The thesis

The expensive part was never the code.
It was the org chart around it.

Software got cheap to build. What stayed expensive was everyone you used to need to build it — the meetings, the handoffs, the permission. Strip that away and one operator with the right tools can do what used to take a team, a boardroom, and a decade. So that’s the bet: not a single company, but the machine that builds them.

01

Uncategorizable on purpose

The suit, the artist, and the engineer used to be three people who didn’t trust each other. Now they’re one. The seams between them are where the speed lives.

02

A factory, not a one-off

A Software Product Line: build the machine that builds the products. Each new SaaS reuses the spine of the last one, so the second is faster than the first and the tenth is faster still.

03

Stay curious

Strong opinions, loosely held, shipped weekly. The plan is to keep moving — take the punch, adjust, ship again. Rigidity is the only thing that actually kills you.

The portfolio

Live products. Real merchants. Same spine.

The thinking

Building in public means thinking in public.

This site exists because the plans get made and unmade out loud. The blog is the working notebook — on flying solo, on the roles converging, on staying impossible to categorize, and on what the new tools actually change.
